EOTC

 Hello people, today I am going to be talking about EOTC week. The reason why I have been blogging lately was because we were doing that. We got to do this for 5 days. They we all different activities. The first day we went to Orana Park, the next day we went to Quail Island, the next day we went Surfing, the next week on Monday we went Clip N Climbing and the last day we went to the New Brighton hot pools. My favourite was the hot pools because it was relaxing. Here are some photos.

I forgot to mention this, it is a little pool that is 10-14 degrees. You walk into while crossing your hands.

Fun Run

Hello people, today I am going to be telling you's about the fun run we did. We did this to try raise some money for kids can. We raised over 8800 dollars online and including cash donations we raised around 9500 dollars. 

The course had lots of stuff the seniors had to run 2 laps around the top bit of Kyle Park and the bottom bit was where all the other fun stuff was. Here are some photos of running.

Office Of Children's Commissioner

 Hello people, today I am going to be talking about the visitors that came here. They came to our school from Wellington. There were four of them their names were Peter, Te Ara, Mereana and Erin. Apparently picked 5 schools out of around 200 and we were one of those schools. We were learning of how to help with bullying. They separated us into 2 teams I was in team 1. 

Our first activity was trying to keep the ball in the air both teams got fourteen. Then our second activity was what makes you happy and that. After that we played this passing game, you had to pass free times then place the ball on the ground and that's one point. I forgot the score but our team won. Then we played a lot more games.

They gave us some food it was Pizza Hut. I had 4 pieces and all of them were pepperoni pizza. They also gave us some water. 

After lunch time we got changed into different groups. We had a walk around the school with Peter and talked about bullying. Then we had a game of Volleyball for like 5 minutes.

Clued Up Kids

 Hello people, today I am going to be talking about the trip we did to town. We went there to learn some emergency stuff. There were 8 activities that we got to do. The first one was what to do in a fire, how to do CPR, seeing how fast we can run ( I ran 17 kilometres and hour,) we went into this lounge and looked at what could make a fire in it, looked at dogs, learned the steps on how to put a helmet on, learned how to do drop cover hold and how to bandage somebody. Athletics

 Hello people, today I am going to be talking about athletics. This was to get us qualified into zones but sadly I didn't make it. We did this on Wednesday when it was raining. We did zones the next day because it was pouring down with rain. We did Shot Put, Discus, Long Jump, High Jump and a fun activity with Mrs T. This was still fun even when I didn't make it to zones.

Canterbury Swim School

 Hello people, today I am going to be talking about our swimming lessons we have been doing for the past 2 weeks. We did this to get better at swimming. I was in the big pool with my friends Marvin, Kody and Nuu. I feel like I got better and backstroke. My trainers name was Martin and I liked him as a trainer. This was really fun to do but now we will be swimming at school. Here is a photo of me swimming.

Interclass Sports

 Hello people, today I am going to be talking about interclass sports. There were 4 classes in it and they were all senior classes. One of the classes was room 8, room 10 (us), room 11 and room 9. We first started with hockey our class went out in the first round by room 9 and room 9 won the whole hockey. Next we did football we bet room 11 and played room 8 in the finals. We lost to them by a penalty goal. Then we played netball but I didn't know the score. The last sport we played was touch. We bet room 11, (i'm pretty sure) then we played room 8. We lost by 2 tries.

Tree Planting

 Hello people, today I am going to be talking about tree planting on Wednesday this week. We went all the way to Springfield which is an 1 hour drive. When we were close to the farm we stopped of at this little playground with a donut. Then we got to the farm and planting a couple of trees. We then explored the whole farm. The two people that lived at the farm names were Dik and Jenny. When we finished tree planting we looked at all the animals and that. Here are 2 photos

Pasfika

Rugby League

 Hello people, today I am going to be talking about Rugby League Centrals. The score was 7-10 Hornby Primary School won! So our team won centrals. I was supposed to play but I injured my finger by jamming it in a door. We vs'd Templton school and it was a pretty hard game I think. Also we had a group photo at the end of the game!
