cylone gita in nz

On Tuesday and Wednesday Cyclone Gita hit.  In Christchurch it wasn't bad but in other places it was really bad. My dad made sure we were safe so he got this big thing then he put water in it incise the water tape brook or something.

I was really scared about the Cyclone because it was all over news it showed broken houses.

My family lives in Tonga and there house has been damage. They sent us pictures to show that there roofs were broken by the storm. My Nana lives in Nelson and she told use about her garage flooding. I got dropped off to school.

What are your thoughts on the cyclone if you live in NZ or Tonga?
